About Me

Welcome to my blog. Thanks for dropping in. I am Lisa, I have been married to Chris for almost 9 years now, and we have two gorgeous girls, Eloise and Tabitha who are 8 and 6. Tabitha has a rare genetic disorder called Langer-Giedion syndrome (aka TRPS type II), which causes numerous health and developmental problems for her, but she is still a happy little girl and makes us smile all the time. I enjoy crafting, and have a rapidly expanding amount of crafting goodies, with not enough space to store them all! Contact me at lisa.seriousstamper@gmail.com

Play time...

...play as in the nativity kind. This year, the girls nativity play was called 'The Stable Boy'. Tabitha's class were donkeys this year, and Ellie's class were angels. Last year, Tabitha developed her sickness after 1 performance (there were 3 and we had tickets for the third), and we didn't get to see her on stage, although her LSA did tell us she was none too impressed. This year we got tickets for the first performance, which was today. We were a little apprehensive about how Tabitha would be, on the stage, in front of an audience, who clapped, but there was no need to worry. Tabitha was fantastic! She actually took part in the play (with her LSA operating her arms!!), with a great big smile on her face. She is so loving this new year group and is joining in so well with them all. Here are some pictures of her on stage, sorry they aren't very clear, but no flash photography was allowed.
Then the angels came on, and Ellie was there, the brightest star of course, with a huge smile on her face all the way through the performance. She was born for the stage that one.

Tonight, we are very proud of our 2 girls. :-D
